Midam Korean Charcoal BBQ, Sunnybank Hills, Brisbane

The last time we ate here was for their Korean BBQ Buffet so when we decided to come for a-la-carte during dinner on a weekday, we didn't know what to expect. The restaurant was somewhat busy but only on one side of it which was the Korean BBQ area whilst the normal tables and seats weren't as full. The only problem I've had with Midam is that their side dishes options aren't as much as the other korean restaurants you go to. You only kind of just get the basics..

Alfred & Constance, Fortitude Valley, Brisbane

Alfred and Constance, the ongoing buzz of this place along with its sisters and brothers of Alfredo's Pizzeria, Kwan Brothers, Chester St Bakery and now, Doughnut Time, all by the same owner, Damian Griffiths. This was a few months back when I ate here, since then, a slight change on the menu so some of the food in this review may or may not be still available in the restaurant. Conveniently placed due mostly of its parking, in which you can get a $5 parking when you dine at any of the restaurants.

Indimex Cafe Bar Restaurant, Greenslopes, Brisbane

IndiMex located at the Stones Corner strip at Greenslopes whips up a Funky Indian with a Mexican Twist cuisine. Although to be honest, both of these cuisines aren't my favourite, nor are they the cuisines I would opt to visit in an instant or are the ones at the top of my list. I don't mind it, I just usually prefer the other cuisines more. When I first heard the fusion of Indian and Mexican together, I thought how is that possible? Spicy food isn't my thing either although my asian background, but thinking about the mixture of both cuisines did get me intrigued of what was offered. Imagine Chicken Tikka Caesar.. Chimichanga served with Biryani rice... Tandoori Chicken Burger.. Bombay Oyster Kilpatricks... and more.

Bavarian Bier Cafe, Eagle Street Pier, Brisbane CBD

I would have to say that Bavarian Bier does a kick in serving classic German dishes, big portions, beers ranging from 300ml - 1 litre, fabulous views, the Story Bridge lighting up at night as a backdrop, fresh air, comfortable seatings may it be at the bar or a more booth feeling or maybe a date night, whatever it is, just remember to come in with a not-so-full tummy since I assure you, by the time you leave, your tummy will be filled right to satisfaction. Located above Grill'd, opposite Pony and next to Sake, it definitely had its spot with occupying a very big space in the upper level of the precinct.

HQ Cafe, Kedron-Wavell Services Club, Chermside, Brisbane

My my.. I don't remember the last time I stepped foot in Kedron-Wavell, but I'm glad I did when the restaurants in Chermside mall was getting a bit dry and wanted to go past Chermside are for lunch but as we drove near the Kedron-Wavell, I thought, why not have a peek and maybe they may serve up good food. Though, I have to admit, I was in the moment of missing pub food.. Good ol' pub food.. and was I surprised by its renovated interior and restaurants too. Though many of you may say it is crowded with older adults, but there were many having lunch breaks from the office, short meetings, or just your casual dressed young adults as well..
